I was born on November 13th, 1978 in Malvern, Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, To Jean Aminta Springer and Arden-Ray Springer.  As my parents were both born in the country of Trinidad and Tobago I am a first generation Canadian.  I grew up in the Malvern Community with my mother, father and older brother Andwele-Ray Springer.

I am a driven person who longs for a sense of purpose.  I have a strong belief in the importance of family.  I have a deep love for the neighbourhood I was born and raised in.  I am an Torontonian and am grateful for being born in one of the greatest cities in the world.  I am a Canadian and an blessed to be a citizen of this great country.

Consider myself a simple man.  I played soccer and football growing up.  In elementary school I was identified as a gifted student was put into a special program for gifted children.  I was named Valedictorian of my graduating class in 1996.  I attend the University of Western Ontario in London and have a degree in Economics.  I was on the Dean’s List my last two years and am confident I can be successful at any course I put my mind to.

I began my career in customer service and used these skills to transition into Insurance.  While working for Aviva Canada I was promoted to an Financial Analyst role which allowed me to use the skills acquired obtaining my economics degree for the first time.

I have been active in the community all my life from volunteering in election campaigns to coaching youth football to Directing the Youth Ministry at Malvern Methodist Church.  Through this community involvement I discovered my true passion of working to build or youth and young people into the leaders of tomorrow.  I continue to work in the community to make Malvern and the entire GTA a better place.
